OpenText Exstream Developer

Our Customer Communication Management (CCM) Solution team works with our clients to create communication solutions that strengthen their customer relationships. By integrating across functional areas, technologies and engagement channels, our CCM Solution helps our clients transform CCM from reactive management to proactive Communications Intelligence.  Our team of CCM Consultants become an extension of our clients’ internal team, advising on strategy and design while developing efficient, scalable and controlled processes for multichannel delivery. 

As a OpenText Exstream Developer at SingleStone, you bring technical expertise to the table of our CCM Solution team.  You have the ability to design, implement, and configure Exstream components in a host of environments that successfully integrate with clients existing infrastructure. You’re familiar with multiuser approval workflow design concepts for packaging applications, template design, and data mapping. Your knowledge of data layouts, variables, and high level programming syntax allow you to manipulate and troubleshoot basic client letter copy to complex and highly variable statement and policy communications. You act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders and development teams, participating in the change control process, recommending best practices and providing alternative solutions to team members and leaders for the monitoring, support, maintenance and implementation of successful applications.

Desired Skills & Experience

While we believe that skills can be developed over time, our OpenText Exstream Developers should have the following skills and experience on day one: 

  • At least 8 years of hands-on experience in developing, configuring and implementing OpenText Exstream, specifically with Command Center, Delivery Manager, Live/Interactive or Empower Editor (highly preferred)
  • Experience in forms design, development and associated triggering. Ability to work with different output formats (AFP, PDF, Postscript, XML), queues and objects 
  • Must be able to analyze/translate business needs into effective technical solutions and work on components of large complex projects with minimal guidance.
  • Strong communication skills required; enthusiastic about engaging in discussions with clients and project team members about technical best practices
  • Candidates should be comfortable with up to 80% travel
